Use in-field research to uncover needs for new SMB products
The client asked us to go beyond the office supply offerings for SMBs today. They asked us to target products that help SMB owners for the future, and asked us to look for opportunities to design the “brand new” and “the innovative.”
Solution
We conducted in-field research with SMBs to uncover unmet needs. Through a research readout, workshops, and collaborative approach, the team identified product areas ripe for innovation. The program resulted in a product design project to build out sensors for the Staples Connect ecosystem.
